The Original Fursuit Mail List

FURSUIT-LIST is the original email list for the discussion of FURRY COSTUMING - With a primary focus on costuming technology and performance. FURSUIT is intended as a support forum for amateur costumers, but professional costumers are also quite welcome.


FURSUIT-LIST is intended to have a small friendly atmosphere and a high "Signal-to-Noise" ratio, thus

  1. Flaming and unconstructive/hostile criticism on the list is prohibited.
    (That's what Alt.Fan.Furry is for :-)
    All such issues must be resolved elsewhere. Violators will be warned, and if violations continue, the flamer(s) will be removed from the list at the discretion of the list owner.
  2. Off topic discussion is not prohibited, but long irrelevant threads are not encouraged. "Me Too" posts are also included in this, as it is just a bunch of wasted bandwidth.
  3. One entry requirement: to join the list, you must have either created or worn a furry costume, or DONE something that similarly indicates your motivation towards furry costuming. This is intended to set the tone of the group.
  4. Keep postings within the PG range; we stick primarily to technology and if you are constructing a furry sex costume or something with working genitalia, we don't need to know those details. On the other hand, if you want your costume to LOOK sexy, we'll be glad to help with the technology.
  5. Don't post binaries (pictures, programs, etc) to the list.
  6. Don't Harvest any Email addresses from the list for the use of Unsolicited Email. Spamming this list or any of its members will result in immediate removal from the list, and you will be reported to the proper channels based on the TOC of your ISP.
  7. If someone does post an off topic or questionable material, do not reply to the message to flame them or otherwise. The admin of the list will deal with the poster directly, rather than spam the entire list with it.
